About

Empowering biodiversity governance through collaborative participation

CIBioGo is dedicated to enhancing participation in biodiversity governance, inspired by the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 and its “30x30” target. They focus on protecting areas, strengthening ecosystem services, and promoting eco-friendly development strategies. By involving stakeholders and citizens, CIBioGo aims to overcome conflicts, improve dialogue, and raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity. With partners across six EU regions, they implement innovative participatory governance tools, ensuring collaborative and sustainable management of biodiversity through structured interregional learning and robust methodologies.

Conservation with indigenous people

Guarding primary rainforest with Indigenous groups

Savimbo's biodiversity credits are designed to provide an immediate conservation economy to smallfarmers and Indigenous groups guarding primary forest with intact populations of rare or endangered animals.

Each credit represents one hectare, of 100% conserved biodiversity in a biodiversity hotspot for two months with photo or video evidence.

Terrasos works for the restoration and protection of highly threatened ecosystems throughout Habitat Banks.
